Sometimes databases will only provide an abstract, which is a summary of the article. If you can't find the full-text of an article, you have a few different options:

  1. Look for the "Lincit" icon to see if the article is available through another database.
  2. Search for the journal itself. Sometimes the article is available in another database.
  3. Search Google Scholar. Sometimes, you can find a copy of the article on the author's website or on another website. However, exercise caution when using Google. Never pay for an article and make sure that the article is from a trustworthy website.
  4. Request a copy through interlibrary loan.
