Periodical refers to any magazine, journal, or newspaper that is published at regular intervals. This means any reoccurring publication that is produced daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annually, or annually.

NOVA Libraries offer access to a variety of popular and scholarly periodicals in both print and digital formats. Each campus collects different print newspapers, journals, and magazines, but all locations provide access to the same digital periodicals through online databases. Search for specific publications in the library catalog.

Periodicals can be considered popular, trade, or scholarly in nature.  Learn more about how to differentiate between these types of periodicals.
